We started life back in 2015 as Hackney Coffee Company, one of the first speciality coffee houses on Hackney Road. Over the years we took on more space and have hosted events to some of the biggest brands in the world. In 2022 we re-branded to The Hackney to reflect the type of business we’ve grown into.

We’re a cafe-bar and events space. We still serve some of the best coffee in town, along with craft beers, cocktails, natural wines. Simple and delicious food options are served throughout the day and we regularly host private events.
